I’m so glad you’re here!
Welcome! I’ve been a busy little bee, getting my new home on the web ready just for you. At the new BriniMaxwell.com you’ll find all sorts of content designed to help you make your life at home the best it can be. You’ll find there are a variety of categories for you to peruse.
In this category I cover topics like home organization, cleaning and life skills. You’ll find articles about clutter, keeping your home tidy, tips to make cleaning easier and hints that unravel the mysteries of folding fitted sheets and ironing a shirt.
More than just recipes, this category has tips and tricks to make your time in the kitchen more productive, as well as basic skills that will give you a good foundation in the art. Oh, and recipes too!
Here you’ll find a variety of ideas and projects to benefit your home, your person and your lucky gift recipients. From fiber arts to wood craft, finishing to fashion finery, you’ll find a good representation of disciplines in this section.
This subject is close to my heart. Here you’ll find posts about design ideas, basic knowledge and obscure decorative items. There’s a heavy bias toward mid-century style here, as you would expect from me!
Under this heading are the items, styles and ephemera of bygone eras. My fascination with everything vintage is represented in these posts.
Over the two seasons of The Brini Maxwell Show we cooked, crafted, redecorated and explored one subject after another. In this category you’ll find the best of these projects, from the Bridge Loaf from episode 108 – You Need a Shower (my most popular recipe from the series) to the sand candles I made on the beach in episode 205 – Hippie Dippy Brini. If it’s in this section, it was on the show.
These posts are about me, what’s new, what’s coming up, in this category you can follow my career and see what I’ll be doing next, or look back and see some of my history.
The other pages on the site include an about section with my back story, a page with information on my new range of online courses and a shop section with the products I’ve designed as well as my DVDs and book and another page of my curated vintage collection over at Etsy.
If it has to do with life at home, you be able to find it here. I’m continuing to add new and archived content to the site on a weekly basis. Browse the categories for ideas or search the archives for a specific subject. There’s a wealth of projects and ideas just waiting for you to discover!
