Bound for Glory – Bound Buttonholes Made Easy

Bound buttonholes, those lovely self fabric details found on couture garments can be difficult to make. They’re like little welt pockets, and the lips can become uneven and lopsided with even the best of efforts. But those problems are a thing of the past with this little kit.

Making Bound Buttonholes Easy

I sometimes have these kits available in my Etsy shop. Have a look!

These buttonholes are a beautiful finish for tailored garments. Here’s a love example from the personal collection of Twinkle Sparkle Shine. This kit, made by the Singer corporation in the 50’s and 60’s makes the process much easier. In this video I show you examples of bound buttonholes and how they can be used on garments, and then demonstrate how to use the kit to make your buttonholes the pride of your project.
